Since the mid-nineties, Tony Scott has been producing and recording music under a wide variety of different alias. However, it is under the guise of Edit Select he’s found the most success. Renowned for his attention to detail and strict production process, the producer has had a wealth of success, remixing the likes of Speedy J, Chris Liebing and Slam, also collaborating with Dino Sabatini and Giorgio Gigli. He plays at Stereo on Saturday 5th of March with support from Unity residents Protic and Noé.

A prominent figure dating all the way back to the Madchester scene, he continues to offer us his own, truly unique, brand of dance music. Not just confined to techno, this is a producer unashamed of his roots, often dropping tracks from his formative years in the north of England, offering a truly diverse club experience. He’s joined by former veteran Sean Johnston, the other half of his London based residency “A Love From Outer Space”.
Slam’s monthly Friday night residency at Subclub returns with a bang. This time, they welcome Zak Khutoretsky aka DVS1. One of the most energetic and enthusiastic DJs on the Techno scene today, Zak continues to engross and encapsulate audiences the world over. Fans of Slam will recognise him from his legendary Slam radio set, recorded 11 hours deep into a set at Berghain. They join techno-heavyweights and Glasgow favourites Slam in the Subclub on Friday 11th March.
Animal Farm have pretty much been at the forefront of the Glasgow underground for a matter of years now; that’s not to say they’ve gone completely unnoticed to the general public, guesting impressive performances at Pressure, Subclub and the T in the Park Slam Tent. On Saturday 12th of March, they give Scotland debuts to NYC house and techno veteran Anthony Parasole, and the dark, uncompromising broody sounds of Swedish producer Abdulla Rashim. Two different styles of music; one incredible night of tunes.
Code celebrate their 6th birthday by welcoming one of the most established and accomplished DJ’s in the game today: Developer. Emerging from the Los Angeles techno scene in the early 90s, the producer went from strength to strength culminating in the co-founding of the first techno distribution company on the west coast “Entity Music Distribution”. World renowned for his marathon sets and innovative programming skills, Developer continues to reinforce his title as one of the most interesting djs in the world today. He’s joined by code resident Nick M in the always intimate La Cheetah.
Easter Sunday sees SWG3 play host to one of the best Pressure line ups in recent memory. UK techno tag team Blawan and Pariah present their monstrous live hardware act Karenn. The last few years have seen them delivering some of the most captivating, mind melting sets of their respective careers. They’re joined by techno don and Berghain resident Len Faki, unquestionably one of the most consistent performers in the game today. There’s also performances from Mathew Dear, Glasgow’s very own Slam, and Karotte.
