Planned your summer holiday yet? If not, look no further as the organisers of Eden Festival have just announced a new sister festival, The Lost Disco, which is set to take place in beautiful Tisno, Croatia from 17-20 August.
Taking its name from the most popular stage at Scotland’s second largest festival, The Lost Disco is heading to The Garden Tisno and will be hosting four stages, featuring some of Scotland’s best acts.
Headline performers are still to be announced but the line-up so far includes Reggae band The Skints, Jazzanova, Maribou State, Ghetto Funk Allstars, DJ Paulette, Chris Massey and many more.
Eden Festival Co-Founder and Director Adam Curtis said: “We are really excited to be taking a slice of Eden Festival abroad to Croatia. There’s a real sense of buzz happening and with the current collapse of Scottish festivals due to over policing and its associated costs, it’s a nice break away from the bureaucracy to more liberal pastures. I think more Scottish events organisers may be looking to do similar adventures in the future.”
Aside from enjoying funk, soul, Balearic house, disco and party beats until 6am, you can also head out on boat parties twice a day across the Adriatic, rejuvenate yourself in the sunrise sessions and venture into the town of Tisno to sample its wineries, restaurants and bars.
Co Director Meredith Langley Vine added: “Timing couldn’t be better for the launch of The Lost Disco with Ryanair announcing new direct flights from Glasgow to Zadar (only 1 hour from the festival site).
“There’s already a flurry of flights being booked up and bus convoys scheduling a two-day road trip from Glasgow to Tisno over the Alps! Planning for this years summer adventure is well truly underway and we can’t wait to get out there!”
Capacity is limited to 1500 at The Lost Disco, so get your tickets sorted asap. Early bird ticket prices are £99 or you can buy four tickets for the price of three.
Eden Festival is still going ahead in the Raehill Meadows of Dumfries Galloway, 8– 12 June, 2017. They will be announcing their best line up to date at the end of January, however if you plan to go book quickly, Tier One tickets have sold out and Tier Two are now on sale at £99 for full weekend camping.
